Managed by Truro City Council, the Pavilion and associated sports and event facilities provide flexible spaces for community groups, sports clubs, businesses, charities and organisations. Whether you are organising a meeting, training session, fitness class, workshop, wellbeing activity, community event, sports session or private celebration, Boscawen Park Pavilion offers high-quality facilities in a convenient riverside location. 

The Pavilion features three dedicated bookable spaces – the Main Sports Hall, Park Studio and River Studio – alongside modern changing facilities, accessible amenities, lift access and nearby parking. Outdoor facilities including sports pitches, the Pétanque Piste, outdoor exercise areas and the Performance Area are also available to hire throughout the year.

Boscawen Park offers a variety of outdoor sports and activity facilities available for hire throughout the year. 

The park features outdoor tennis courts available to hire for recreational use, coaching sessions, club activities and organised sporting events.

Boscawen Park is home to Truro's dedicated Pétanque Piste, providing a welcoming space for both casual players and organised community groups to enjoy this popular and accessible outdoor sport. 

Often referred to as boules, Pétanque is suitable for all ages and abilities, making it an excellent activity for community groups, clubs and recreational users. 

Boscawen Park supports a variety of organised sporting activities through its hireable sports pitches, outdoor activity spaces and recreational facilities. 

Outdoor exercise spaces are available for organised fitness activities, wellbeing sessions and community exercise programmes. 

The dedicated Performance Area provides a flexible outdoor venue for a wide range of activities and events, including:

The space is suitable for both one-off events and regular community activities. 

Boscawen Park benefits from convenient on-site parking and easy access from Truro city centre, making it an ideal destination for visitors attending sporting activities, community events, fitness classes, meetings and recreational activities throughout the year. 

Two pay and display car parks are available within the park. The main car park, located adjacent to Café in the Park, provides convenient access to the wider park facilities and open recreation spaces. A second pay and display car park is situated next to Boscawen Park Pavilion, offering easy access to the Pavilion and sports facilities. 

Both car parks include designated accessible parking bays to support visitors with additional access requirements. The Pavilion car park also features two public electric vehicle (EV) charging points, providing convenient charging facilities for electric vehicle users while visiting the site. 

The venue is also easily accessible by foot, bicycle and public transport, making it a convenient location for residents and visitors travelling from across Truro and Cornwall.  Bike racks are available at either end of the park with the addition of two electric bike lockers outside the Pavilion.

Accessible pathways and step-free access help ensure the facilities can be enjoyed comfortably by visitors of all ages and abilities.
